The University of the South Pacific (USP) is a unique regional public research university serving the Pacific Islands. The university operates as a multi-campus, multi-modal institution with 15 campuses and centers across member countries. The main Laucala Campus in Suva serves as the hub, complemented by major campuses in Samoa (Alafua) and Vanuatu (Emalus), plus regional sites in each member nation. This network, supported by the USPNet satellite system, enables flexible delivery modes—including face-to-face, blended, online, and print—making education accessible even in remote island communities.
